J and I have been together for 7 sevens. Seven. Frickin. Years. It’s been quite a beautiful journey, but one thing we regret is the lack of pictures to document our relationship through the years. This year I decided we would take time out to photograph ourselves doing what we do, so that we can look back and remember how cute we used to be. Haha.
Sunday we decided to do the typical Austin thing and walk up and down Congress, where we ended up at Jo’s to grab some coffee and people watch. People watching is fun in Austin - you get a little bit of everything - the urban cowboys, the professional hipsters, the college chicks who seem to own only running shorts and free t-shirts, the forever young old hippies and celebrities. Wait… what? Celebrities? I’m only kicking myself for not going on a cold blooded man hunt for Ryan Gosling last year while he was filming in town, but c'est la vie. (He’ll find me one day. ;) ) This Sunday, my people watching consisted of sitting a table away from Justin Long. Justin Long, best known for his powerful performance in the Mac vs. PC commercials, was chiliing next to us with some friends looking like the cutest homeless man ever. Sometimes, I wish I had the gall to just go up to strangers and talk to them, but I like to pretend I’m too cool for that. Unfortunately, I have zero proof we were in the same place except for the photo below.
So there’s that.
